Taking into account that:
- Two players with exactly same skillcaps at all qualities have different overall quality;
- Players with the same overall quality have different skillcaps;
- Players with lower overall quality than others have higher skillcaps than latter;
- In HT there are no exceptions, everything is based on exact figures;
and based on my database stretched over time, I consider the followings:
1. overall quality is a numeric value, an average that falls within a well-established interval;
2. this interval takes into account the average native skills of the
junior at the time of joining the academy and HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
HIS SKILLCAPS;
- for field players is the average of six qualities: attack, defense, playmaking, winger, passing and set pieces;
- for goalkeepers is the average of three qualities: goalkeeper, defense and set pieces;
The intervals are the classics:
- For overall disastrous between 0 to 0.99
- For overall wretched between 1 to 1.99
- For overall poor between 2 to 2.99
- For overall weak between 3 to 3.99
- For overall inadequate between 4 to 4.99
- For overall acceptable between 5 to 5.99
- For overall good between 6 to 6.99
At some level, they can give the impression that overall quality
overlap at certain points. However, this is not the case, the boundary
between them is given by the low and high values of native skill
players.
The overall sub-level could be low, medium or high.
Regardless of overall / qualities of departure, a player can have any skillcaps.
(a junior with a week overall can attain excellent skillcaps).
I recommend accepting in the Academy juniors with a minimum inadequate overall quality.
